Swedish
Swedish massage relaxes muscles through pressure applied to the muscles and joints with soothing strokes returning blood to the heart. This increases oxygen flow and releases toxins built up in the muscles.
Deep Tissue
Deep tissue massage works the deeper muscles to release tension in the body, usually chronic tension. This is done with slow strokes and concentrated pressure on the tense area to remove toxins and loosen muscles. Deep tissue massage can result in soreness for a day or two following the massage.
Reiki
Reiki is an ancient form of Tibetan massage. Using Chi or energy, not only are the symptoms of the disease healed but also the root of the problem is found and healed. This is key because the root of the problem may be emotional, mental or spiritual.
Myotherapy
Myotherapy  massage works the different muscles layers individually. The therapist works surface muscles, connective tissues and deeper ligaments. This type of massage is similar to acupuncture, where pressure is placed on certain points of the body.

Trigger Point

Trigger Point massage works the different muscles layers individually. The therapist works surface muscles, connective tissues and deeper ligaments. This type of massage is similar to acupuncture, where pressure is placed on certain points of the body.

Myofascial Release
Myofascial Release stretches the myofascial unit – a combination of muscles and the fascia, a thin layer of tissue covering every muscle. When a muscle is injured or strained, the fascia around it tightens. By strechting both areas together, the therapist relieves soreness in the muscle and repairs the tightened fascia.
I attended Seattle Massage School, graduating in 1999, and starting my practice in the same year.  Prior to that I attended Cornish College of the Arts, North Shore Community College, and Shoreline Community College for Music Composition and Performance.  I tutored music theory, and later took courses in Sound Healing (Vibrational Medicine), an excellent background in overtones and the understanding in the way  music affects each of us.   I was a surgical assistant and medical assistant in a family practice office for 17 years.
I studied Integrative Fascial Release with Steven Goldstein, Crystal and Chakra therapy, I am Reiki Master in 4 different systems, and have been studying and using Crystals for healing since I was 9 years old.    I also have certifications on Bodywork Counseling ( Traditional Reiki & Process work), and 27 years Shamanic training and experience.  I have studies with Kate Bromley (polarity),  Diana Thompson (cervical injury certification)  Eileen Dei (Reiki Training Program, Bodywork Counseling), & Karma Lhundup (Process work).    I am a student of physics and believe that the correlation between the subatomic particles, the microcosm, and the macrocosm gives us answers to the dynamics of the body, and it's processes.   I have several certification with Diana Thompson in Whiplash Treatment, and have been working with specific injury for many years.  17 years in a medical doctor's office, and 8 as a Licensed Massage Practitioner.
