I am Ashleigh Gustavson of Laughing Nua Animal Reiki. I have been studying energy work for 12 years, have co-taught Reiki with Eileen Dey of the Reiki Training Program, and am a Reiki Master in the Usui System. I have loved and worked with animals my entire life. I will be attending the veterinary school at Washington State, and then will eventually be certified in marine mammal veterinary medicine (dolphins, whales, and other large marine mammals).
I believe that animals deserve reiki, too. Animals can experience stress just as easily as humans, and need regular TLC to be healthy. Pets can become anxious without enough healing touch, positive words, and attention.
My happy clients will tell you with their wagging tails, glossy fur, bright eyes, and gentle licks, that they LOVE animal reiki.

Animals, like humans, need healing modalities, too. Acupuncture, Massage, & Reiki are modalities that most animals will respond to in a relatively short period of time. Reiki helps with skin conditions, arthritis & other inflammatory conditions, metabolic disorders, and many other medical issues. Reiki is a complementary treatment to qualified Veterinary care, and can even be used to add healing energy to your family pets' water and medication.
Animals require only minute amounts of time. The animal dictates when the Reiki session is completed by disengaging from the Reiki Practitioner (stretching, walking away, etc...), the Animal Reiki Practitioner immediately concludes the treatment, always honoring the animals wishes.
