Shamanism--The Journey to a Thousand Realms: by Siete Lobos Enter the space where the body-mind-spirit and intention connect, enter your inner landscape. When you travel in the landscape of the Shaman (alternate reality), and in Ordinary Reality, you are walking in both worlds. You are experiencing the unseen, what you feel, your inner knowing, and seeing what lies on the surface or what it appears to be in Ordinary Reality. You are half shadow and half light in a sense. Each of us can connect to this reality, but it is essential to cleanse the ego, the Ego that pulls us out of balance. The Ego that says, 'me first." In this place of altered state, each of us is connected into the cradle of life, the web of the Universe, where we can tap into the consciousness of the reality of the unseen. The destinations are infinte, the vibrations powerful and life changing. It is in this place that we can see, really see who we are and how we connect to both worlds. Each person has their own map, a map that was begun from the time of their conception, fed by their parents before they were born, and once born into this world, all the senses come into play! Children get it, children walk in both worlds, they use all of their senses, say what they mean and mean what they say. As we get older, we lose the magic of our dual realities. We numb ourselves wity drugs, alcohol, addictions....because feeling all of ourselves, being a fully vibrant person is overwhelming at times. In a world that is politically correct, and where we are encouraged to sacrifice our dreams, feelings, and intuition, to fit in is like dying a little every day. Giving ourselves away, word by word, action by action, feeling by feeling, until we have lost the sense of who we are, no longer trusting our wonderful intuition. I believe that each of us chose to be here, now...and that each of us knows what we are here to accomplish, finish, and learn. Our lessons are part of the Inner Landscape, the lessons that we have finished and are working through. We are given the opportunity to come together with people to have closure, to make amends for any wrongs done in the past. Mother earth, the Universe, whatever you want to call it, has given us many tools and gifts to work through our lessons and to help us connect, really connect to ourselves and others. Everything is energy and vibration---it is neutral. It is in the application of this energy that we can heal or harm. There are times when it is harmful to take no action, just as there are times when it causes more harm to take action. Honoring the sacredness of everyday life through mindful eating, driving, walking, talking, listening, playing, working, are critical. Honoring those that have come before us, our ancestors, mentors, teachers, guides, offering gratitude for and to them is an important part of the path. Shamans have used drumming, plants, and sweats to move into altered states. There are therapies, such as Primal Therapy (one of many modalities), that naturally move us into the altered state, where our higher self has the answers.that we are seeking. Working with our Spirit guides, angels, ancestors, and mother earth is connecting into a deeper knowledge, one that has no boundaries, one that is interconnected to every thought, feeling, hope, desire, longing. It is the longing at the core of everyone and everything to find true fellowship and connection. The lack of connection causes illness, repressed immune systems, depression, and addictions. All we need to do is to reach out and ask for assistance, knowing that each of us is expected to do the right and honorable action and have have the right and honorable thought regardless of who will see or hear about it. For the Shaman, there is no room, no place for Ego, only hope that healing is always present, all we need to do is to tap into it. Follow the infinite strands of the web, you will have the journey of a lifetime, of many lifetimes, for there is no linear time in Non-ordinary reality. Infinite blessings.
